I purchased this as a replacement for the exact one which broke the top broke away from the tube (because it is make of plastic). The new pump works well and I needed only the pump top and tube. Delta does not sell it as a stand alone part and it was not available, that I could find online. For us worth the purchase, it was a drop in fix.Have exact same soap dispenser for 18 yrs in another room and still working. As the other one has not worked I’m years- replaced it with this one.A little high for a plastic soap dispenser but looks so nice with matching Delta faucets. Fill soap from the top, do not have to unscrew soap holder.Matches delta brushed metal finish and lines in kitchen redo, so worth the modest$ premium.I was so happy to replace same dispenser I had. It matched my faucet! When my soap dispenser stopped working, I thought I would have to replace the whole unit. I was so happy to find the pump and simply popped it in and voilà! Super simple.I ordered another one just in case this one breaks. The pump on my old soap dispenser broke, I guess the inner plastic just snapped after years of use. Now this one is a direct replacement. All I had to do is replace the pump only. I left the original soap dispenser container bolted onto the sink, I just swapped the pumps. Everything perfect except that I ended up throwing away all the other parts because all I needed was the pump portion. It would have been perfect to just buy the pump for a much reduced prize. However, in the big picture I’m happy to even have found the dispenser still available. My faucet is probably 15 years old, to be able to get the part and just simply put the pump in the hole and that’s it, nothing else and it all matches. I’m thrilled at how easy it went. This was an identical replacement for one that broke after 7 years of daily use. No complaints.Really upset over this matching lotion dispenser. I even called Delta before placing the order to confirm that the material WAS in fact stainless steel and she kept telling me it was "arctic stainless", whatever that means??? Maybe "Penguin stainless", or "Northern Lights Stainless" would be just as confusing. I specifically asked if the the entire unit was made of solid stainless. Delta's answer? "It's Arctic stainless". Then she assumed I was being rude, put me on hold and came back with, "yes, it's stainless steel". So I placed the order. I assumed a nice heavy gauge of stainless steel, instead what I got was an extremely THIN piece of metal that will absolutely not hold up well in a kitchen. The entire unit weighs like literally nothing. It's so thin I can't even imagine how they managed to make and mold it. It looks like maybe the steel is molded over plastic. It's feather light, and definitely not worth the money paid. Feels like a dollar store item. I think both the faucet and this dispenser are going back. If you are going to offer stainless steel, then for heaven sake it should feel like I am holding a piece of steel, and not a piece of plastic. This is plastic you know. A higher grade of plastic would be much better since stainless would be unreachable price wise. It is used a lot if you think about it's purpose! I replaced my countertops and the one I had got broken in the process. Hole was cut so I replaced it with the same one. It fit the hole.Could not do anything else.I read the reviews before buying and was concerned about the one saying it was plastic. The soap pump that came with the faucet stopped working and I needed a replacement. Due to the review, I checked the material of the original - it was also plastic, although the faucet and water control are metal! I bought the soap pump and it looks like metal but isn't. I am very happy with the look of it. (However, I believe it should be about half the price - especially since it is plastic)This products are not very ggod quality. The soap dispenser are made of plastic so the old one was broken after 3 years. So to be careefull with it and push it to center. the stainer was peeled off after one year, was replaced on waranty by my builder, the replacement was peeled off after two years, and after three years was eroded complettely. Insinkerator flange was peeled after two years. So the reason for replacement with the same brand was to have thees staff matched to my old ones, looked gorgeous and I didn't find anything like this from another manufacturers. Probably will replace again in 2-3 yearsSince I only needed the plastic bottle with its filler neck, I just replaced the broken components. Exactly as advertised. Direct replacement
