My girlfriend is an ex-executive chef who is vegetarian. I gave this book to her as a Christmas gift with concerns based on mixed reviews. She has laughed at every turn of the page commenting that the authors obviously had taught many people to cook. The photos are brilliant. They show different stages of cooking a dish. The recipes are refreshing, healthy, and tasteful. Written with humor, follow their advice and discover a new, interesting and healthy way to prepare food. Would give it a 10 star if possible. If foul language bothers you, you will not like the book. We found it a delightful way to emphasize things.
